One dead, three injured outside a Malaga nightclub


An argument outside a Malaga nightclub left one dead and three injured, according to the Policia Nacional, which was called to the scene at 6:35 a.m. on Sunday April 15.

According to El Pais, there was a fight outside the Akari nightclub, during which the 23-year-old was killed and three others injured.

Police say the people were intentionally mowed down by a car, with officers looking for a white Volkswagen Golf with a sunroof. The car is said to have lost its driver’s side mirror and has damage to the front of the vehicle.

Witnesses, who called 112, said a car hit several pedestrians on Isaac Peral Street, west of the capital Malaga.

The scene was followed by the local police, the Guardia Civil, the Police Nacional and the 061 Health Emergency Center. Despite their best efforts, the man died at the scene from injuries sustained during the hit-and-run.

The three injured include two boys and a girl, who was released after observation. One of the two boys remains in the emergency room for observation. They say he has a broken leg and is waiting for surgery.

Investigation teams remained in the area for most of the day as they investigated the hit and run which left one dead and three injured.
