Some dealerships are unofficially opening reservations for the next Maruti Suzuki Brezza
Just days after the 2023 Maruti Suzuki Brezza hit our roads for the first time, select dealerships have now begun offline reservations for the upcoming compact SUV. So your nearest retailer can also accept reservations.
The next Brezza is expected to command a wild wait spanning months after launch, as it’s the first generation change for the SUV. It should also regain lost ground against Tata Nexon and further widen the gap with the Hyundai Venue.
The upcoming car would have lost its “Vitara” name and is now called “Brezza”. It not only looks wider and more proportioned now like a real SUV, but also has some interesting design elements.
Up front, chunky chrome strips feature a new design with the Suzuki logo in the center. Even the piano black bumper has chunky stripes and a grille is barely visible. Dual lug LED headlights and drls are the latest additions and look striking.
The sturdy matte black body cladding was carried over from the existing car, further emphasizing the SUV’s stance. The car gets a two-tone finish with piano black dominating the top half. The roof rails are however finished in contrasting white.
Out back, the taillights are sleek and refreshing. There are new cuts and pleats that give a busy look. The word “Brezza” is written in bold to completely forget the name “Vitara”. The license plate is prominently attached to the tailgate.
The cabin is also expected to be completely overhauled. Maruti Suzuki is likely to deliver new floating touchscreen infotainment, new instrument cluster, sunroof, paddle shifters, connected car tech, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 6 airbags, TPMS and a 360 degree camera.
The company could install the updated 1.5-liter K15 engine borrowed from the new Ertiga and XL6. In its current form, the mild-hybrid mill produces 102PS and 137Nm. There would be an option to choose either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The next Brezza would command a premium over the existing Vitara Brezza and it will launch in about a month.
The SUV competes with Toyota Urban Cruiser, Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and Kia Sonet.
