A couple bought a 1950s travel trailer to make their camping trips more upscale and sophisticated. In the latest episode of “Lil Jon Wants to Do What?”, Lil Jon and Anitra Mecadon take extra care to ensure their lightweight, custom designs stay stable when the mobile home is in motion.
Kelly Kline and his wife Symantha Reenders renovated and reinvented a 1970 Scotty Serro motorhome and transformed it into a small farmhouse-style mobile bar, currently known and available for rental as the Treehouse Tap, at the height of pandemic shutdowns in 2020. To boost the ante, Kline and Reenders have now joined the latest HGTV series “Lil Jon Wants To Do What?” to refurbish a three-room 30-foot Alma trailer from 1952 and transform it into a luxury suite on wheels. Who doesn’t want to collaborate with Lil Jon? He’s a larger-than-life music industry star, and now he’s showing off his talents in a variety of ways. In the couple’s effort, Lil Jon will come up with plenty of wonderful ideas. He’s been around the world, ridden in luxury tour buses and seen amazing hotels and nightclubs. We will therefore see him continually drawing on these experiences and applying them to the remodeling and design of the Alma.

The Grammy Award-winning artist, rapper, and DJ turned Lil Jon’s ready-made house renovation into “Lil Jon Wants to Do What?” with renowned professional designer and builder Anitra Mecadon. They work together to help skeptics who are stuck in a drab home discover their creative wild side with surprisingly unorthodox remodeling ideas that seem hard to pull off. The HGTV opportunity is a perfect fit for Kline’s new company Vintage Ventures. Kline looks forward to the introduction of Treehouse Studios’ new car rental segment, which will expand Treehouse Studios’ well-known rental spaces to include historic cars with nostalgia and personality.
Vintage Ventures’ goal is to share the couple’s appreciation of this bygone era with people in the production and event industries. They are crazy about antique campers! Their beauty, deliberately landscaped and built-up areas – only the style and design of that time is great. So for them, resurrecting something from 40 or 50 years ago or reimagining how space can be used is quite satisfying!
Alma is a mod-resto in the truest sense of the word. The couple, along with Lil Jon and Anitra, are completely restoring the exterior to its 1950s appearance. Meanwhile, the interior has all the contemporary conveniences you would expect from an upscale hotel suite. It’s a truly one-of-a-kind setting that people will be talking about long after they visit. The outdoor kitchen is one of Kline’s favorite features in the rebuilt and upgraded Alma. It’s amazing and was completely custom built, with top of the line fixtures from KAMP Drawers. The clean design and smart use of space are stunning. Everyone loves a good grill station, and this one is top notch!
Alma de Kline’s draft trailer will be featured on Episode 5 of “Lil Jon Wants To Do What” which airs on HGTV and Discovery+ on May 30, 2022 at 10 p.m. The first episode aired on May 2, and a new episode will premiere every Monday at 10 p.m.
