Select Maruti Suzuki Arena dealerships have started accepting pre-bookings for the next-generation Brezza subcompact SUV for an initial sum of Rs 5,000. Interested buyers can contact their nearest dealership for more information. The prices of the new Maruti Brezza 2022 will be announced in the last weeks of June. The new model will likely be more expensive than the existing version which costs between Rs 7.84 lakh and Rs 11.49 lakh (all ex-showroom Delhi).
Major changes will be made to its foundations, engine, exterior and interior. This means that the new Maruti Brezza 2022 will be a far cry from the current generation. The subcompact SUV will feature the updated 1.5L K15C gasoline engine with two injectors per cylinder, improving its fuel efficiency. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual and a new 6-speed torque converter automatic. Reports suggest that the new Brezza may be offered later with the factory-fitted CNG kit.
The interior of the new Maruti Brezza 2022 will experience significant changes in terms of functionality. There will be an all-new dashboard and a larger 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the new SmartPlay Pro+ interface and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Features like wireless smartphone charging, a 360-degree camera, a new dashboard, connected car technology and new flat-bottom steering with mounted controls will also be incorporated. On the safety side, the new Brezza will surely be much better than the existing model. If reports are to be believed, the new model will come with 6 airbags, hill hold assist, downhill assist and tire pressure monitoring system.
The design of the new Maruti Brezza 2022 will be revised with a new grille, new headlights, modified front and rear bumpers, matte black coating, newly designed two-tone 16-inch alloy wheels and revised taillight clusters.
