Opening of unofficial reservations for the new Citroën C3 before its launch


– The 2022 Citroën C3 will be launched in India on July 20

– Indian-spec model unveiled earlier this month

Some Citroen dealerships have started accepting reservations for the upcoming C3 sedan a few weeks after its official launch in the Indian market. The model will be launched in India on July 20. Citroën recently revealed fuel efficiency figures for the C3, details of which are available here.

The Citroën C3 is powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine in naturally aspirated and turbocharged versions, mated to five- and six-speed manual units respectively. The NA engine produces 81 hp and 115 Nm of torque, while the turbo engine produces 109 hp and 190 Nm of torque. We drove the C3 and you can read our review here.

In terms of design, the Citroën C3 gets a split headlight design, the signature twin-slat chrome grille with Citroën logo, orange inserts for the fog lamp surrounds, skid plates, ORVMs and a contrasting colored roof; steel wheels with wheel covers, roof rails, square taillights and two-tone rear bumper with integrated number plate recess. Inside, the 2022 Citroën C3 will feature a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, height-adjustable driver’s seat, black upholstery, flat-bottomed steering wheel, a digital dashboard and steering wheel controls.
