How to Maximize Amex Green Card Benefits

To maximize the benefits offered by the Amex Green Card, you should use it to pay for as many purchases as possible. After all, American Express Green Card benefits like travel insurance, purchase protection, and extended warranty only apply when you use your Amex credit card to pay in the first place.

Fortunately, the Amex Green Card can easily be used for all your regular expenses and bills. You’ll earn rewards on everything you buy with your card, and the Amex Green Card doesn’t charge foreign transaction fees when you use it for purchases abroad.

The bottom line

Amex Green Card benefits are quite generous when you consider the card’s rewards rate and annual fee, but be sure to compare other American Express credit cards to see where they stack up. You can pay a higher annual fee if you want more Amex benefits, but you can also earn Membership Rewards points for no annual fee, if you prefer.

Our opinion ? The winning rate and welcome offer of the Amex Green Card are worth pursuing, and the benefits of the American Express Green Card are just the icing on the cake.
